Ilin Ilinski Solo Live Ilin Iliev (Ilinski), a native of Plovdiv, is a versatile musician whose artistic journey spans multiple genres and disciplines. He completed both his secondary and higher education with a specialization in guitar under Valentin Valchev. At the same time, he studied classical singing with Avram Andreev, one of the co-founders of the Plovdiv Opera. Following his creative drive, he developed as a musician by blending multiple genres, a path that led to the creation of two original albums. Later, he completed a master’s degree in vocal studies in London, where he is currently active as a teacher and a performing artist within the music scene. As in his previous appearances, Ilin refuses to be confined by genre boundaries. His concerts are a journey with unexpected turns — we never know what the next move will be, and that is precisely their charm. After numerous performances across Europe, nothing can replace the feeling of being home. To tell the story of his journey so far, he brings together favorite works that have shaped him as an artist, weaves them through different instruments, and enriches them with his own original music.

Koychev & Nedyalkov – The Teachers

Two of Bulgaria’s most iconic guitarists – Tsvetan Nedyalkov and Veselin Koychev – come together in their original project, The Teachers.

Music on the edge between jazz and Bulgarian folklore – virtuoso guitars, free improvisation, and powerful emotion.

The project features original compositions and jazz interpretations of traditional folk themes, presented with mastery and distinctive character.

The “Morpheus” project was created through a collaboration between trumpeter and composer Rossen Zahariev and electronic artist and producer Ivan Shopov. The project explores the intersection of jazz, fusion, and electronic music, where the acoustic sound of the trumpet intertwines with electronic textures, creating new sonic spaces and emotional landscapes.
The concept of the project is based on a dialogue between improvisation and composition, the traditional and the contemporary, with the aim of offering a unique musical experience that enriches the contemporary Bulgarian music scene.

On February 6, 2026, at … o’clock, at Jazz Club Jazz Insights, “Jazz Sings in Bulgarian” will present some of the most beautiful jazz standards with Bulgarian-language lyrics by Maria Doneva. “One Minute Summer,” “Pretty Girl,” “False Humming” — they may sound like cocktail names, but in fact they are song titles: a true cocktail of music and poetry. Antoni Donchev, Ventsislav Blagoev, and Marina Gospodinova (in alphabetical order) have recorded and will present to the audience their new studio album. Join us for the concert, after which, for the first time, you will not only be able to enjoy the experience live, but also take it home with you — with songs like “Secret Love,” “Gentle Rain,” and “Mysterious Woman.” You’ll be able to offer “The Moon” to your own woman and hope she doesn’t reply with “You’re Not for Me.”

They share not only a deep love for jazz and diverse experience in this music of free expression, but also a strong interest in and profound respect for the authentic and rich musical heritage of the Balkans — that colorful, vibrant part of Europe from which all members of the band originate.
Balkan Surprise is a meeting of colleagues, neighbors, and friends, and the band’s music reveals the many layers of this connection. It is warm and sincere, beautiful and vivid, calm and dynamic.
