On Halloween night, Brazilian rhythms will enchant the stage at “V Dzhaza”!

Vesela Morova is well-known for her love of Brazilian music. Upon returning to Bulgaria more than ten years ago, she founded the project Dandalunda, and since then has performed countless songs in the sensual Portuguese language on stages across the country.

In Plovdiv, she will appear with a band of exceptional and devoted jazz musicians:
Martin Denev – piano
Alexander Lekov – bass
Emil Pehlivanov – drums
and special guest from Berlin – Vladimir Karparov – saxophone!

Vesela will revive that gentle, refined emotion and swaying rhythm with which bossa nova and samba captivate every soul in search of beauty.
In Brazilian music, opposites coexist in harmony – joy and nostalgia, euphoria and ease, introversion and extroversion.
The audience will hear both familiar and lesser-known pieces written by Tom Jobim, Sérgio Mendes, Luiz Bonfá, Jorge Ben, and other iconic Brazilian composers.

“Around the World Nights” takes us on a journey to the “Green Island Land,” where legends come alive through:
Live Celtic rhythms with the band SONAS (the Irish word for happiness and good luck).
SONAS is a collective of musicians and dancers, with members from both Ireland and Bulgaria:
Jack Kelly – guitar, bass, and vocals
Andrey Velkov – bodhrán (Irish drum), synthesizer, drums, and more
Toma Chakurov – Irish traditional flute
Thomas Keating – Irish bagpipes, violin, and vocals

Irish dances presented by Rosen Idealov and Tiyana Sluncheva.
We will touch the Irish soul through poetry and a short cultural story,
and taste the flavors of Irish cuisine in the cozy atmosphere of an old Dublin pub.
Themed culinary delights are available by pre-order.
