Strong emotion, warmth, dancing rhythms, and that magnetic connection between musicians and audience that only happens when the stage truly catches fire. 
The flamenco-fusion formation Del Padre is a true phenomenon on the Bulgarian music scene — music born from Spanish-speaking passion, yet carrying the freedom of jazz, the richness of Latin rhythms, and the spirit of world folk traditions.
Their sound flows from traditional Spanish music to Cuban energy, from Latin American impulses to ethno motifs — all brought together through an exceptional and multifaceted ensemble.
In 2012, Del Padre released their debut album “Rubi”, featuring musicians from more than ten countries. It is exactly this multicultural palette that shapes their signature sound — colorful, passionate, and recognizable from the very first note.
The group has been part of some of the most prestigious festivals in Bulgaria and abroad, including:
Apollonia, A to Jazz, Perelik Eco Jazz “The Sound of Silence”, Sofia Fusion Fest, GuitArt Festival, Fusion Fest Veliko Tarnovo, and many more.
Del Padre also took part in Neshka Robeva’s спектакъл “Carmen from Fakulteta”, where they created the musical arrangement — a fiery combination of flamenco and Bulgarian folklore.

“Cinema in Jazz” is a concert that brings together the very best of musicals, film music, and jazz.
Boyan Todorov and Valeria Vasilenko invite you to join a special musical journey through the history of musicals, cinema, and jazz. 
You will hear music from legendary titles such as “Chicago”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Cabaret”, “The Hedgehog War”, “Grease”, “La La Land”, “Mamma Mia”, and many more beloved films, along with modern pop hits directly inspired by musicals and jazz. 
From the early years of sound cinema to today’s stage and screen musicals, jazz has remained a living part of the film industry.
The program will feature new interpretations of favorite movie and musical hits such as “Arabian Nights” and “One Jump Ahead” from “Aladdin” , “Something There” and “Be Our Guest” from “Beauty and the Beast”, “City of Stars” from “La La Land”, and many more. 
The music will be performed by Boyan Todorov and Valeria Vasilenko.

Dimitar Karamfilov is well known to audiences as a double bassist in a number of successful projects alongside artists such as Hilda Kazasyan, Zhivko Petrov, Beloslava and many other remarkable names from the Bulgarian music scene. That is exactly why his club performances as the leader of his own project are rather rare — and every such meeting with the audience carries a special value.
After two albums of original music, Karamfilov now turns his focus to the live sound of these compositions — music where modern jazz meets clear melodic lines, space for improvisation, and strong ensemble interaction.
On May 30 at Jazz Club “JazzInsights” in Plovdiv, you can expect a concert featuring original music specially arranged for this quartet.
