Georgi Kornazov graduated with honors from the Paris Music Academy and has received numerous awards at French competitions. He has been living and working in Paris since 1995 and has led numerous bands and projects over the years. He has performed at international festivals, clubs, and concert halls, recorded extensively, and released 11 original albums.

He is a recipient of the Crystal Lyre for jazz and the 2023 Audience Special Award.

He has played with major orchestras: Vienna Art Orchestra, NDR Big Band,
Paris Jazz Big Band, ONJ (Orchestre National de Jazz de France), Big Band Radio Sofia

With singers: Al Jarreau, Norma Winstone, Claude Nougaro, Isabel Julve

We'll dive into the culture of Argentina, the music from the old streets of Buenos Aires, and the poetry of the dance.

What awaits you:

Before the main program – a short tango lesson covering basic steps that you’ll be able to use during the evening party.
Live on stage – TANGO CATS are coming to Plovdiv!
They break clichés, defy expectations, and breathe new life into tango – with bold, contemporary sounds that preserve the spirit of the dance while bringing fresh energy.
Their music is both innovative and deeply respectful of tradition.
