Andrey Gichev Trio" is a lineup that has been performing on the Bulgarian jazz scene for two years now. These young musicians came together with a shared goal—to make music together while honoring the rich traditions of jazz. Alongside classic styles, they also perform their own original music.

The Hammond organ is an electromechanical instrument that generates sound using rotating metal wheels (tonewheels) positioned in front of magnetic pickups. Following their successful tour with Italian organist Pietro Caroleo, Velizar Gichev and Teodor Toshkov decided to continue this format alongside the young and talented pianist Andrey Gichev.
The musicians will present a selection of favorite jazz standards, music by Jimmy Smith and Wes Montgomery, other iconic pieces written for the Hammond organ trio format, as well as original compositions.
